This post is mostly intended to SJSU folks, if you are not at SJSU, you can still take some hints from this post.

Overview

This post is a step-by-step guide to setting up the HPC cluster at SJSU.

The HPC cluster at SJSU is a shared resource for students and faculty to run compute-intensive jobs.

The cluster is managed by the College of Engineering IT team, so any issues with the cluster, directly call them during office hours or raise a ticket at student IT helpdesk.

The cluster uses the SLURM workload manager to schedule jobs.

The cluster has a few partitions, each with different hardware configurations.

You might need to connect to the SJSU VPN to access the cluster from off-campus, if on campus, connect to
eduroam
wifi network to directly access the cluster.

If you’re also looking to perfect your Neovim setup, feel free to take some hints from this. Consider it a peek into how I roll with Neovim

A Few Words Before You Start

Neovim, building a whole editor from scratch itself is an art. It’s personal and unique. And just like rome, its not built in a day. Don’t try to perfect it, iteratively improve it as you like.
